Ventures

What we build and back.

Twenty-five years of government technology work has produced businesses, research and investments that are worth more standing on their own than buried inside a consultancy.

Venture 01

GovP2P

Government procurement, as a service.

GovP2P delivers procurement as a service for government: early market engagement, strategy and planning, tender development, and evaluation management. It exists because we spent two decades running exactly this work inside departments and knew it could be done faster, more transparently, and with better outcomes for public money.

Venture 02

SiteForge

The construction operating layer.

SiteForge is the software small-to-medium construction companies keep open because it removes the slowest, most expensive admin between a site event and getting paid for it — variations, approvals, site access and labour confidence. Built for builders running multiple sites and crews, it stands on the Microsoft 365 licences they already own and integrates with Buildxact rather than replacing it. A venture IGS is building now.

Venture 03

Innovation investment

IGS invests in and backs technology ventures, providing the structure, funding and delivery capability that early-stage ideas usually lack.

We are open to approaches from founders. We are most useful where we have real domain knowledge, and honest about where we do not.

What we look for

Three things, and we mean them

Sectors we know

Government, health, aged care, or process-heavy operations. Sectors where twenty-five years of scar tissue is worth something. We are not generalist investors.

A real problem, from the inside

The best ideas we have backed came from people who lived the problem before they tried to solve it.

Founders who want a partner

We bring delivery capability and structure, not just capital. If you only need money, we are not the right fit.

Applied research

Where we invested in the underserved

IGS has invested in applied research where we believed the sector was underserved, most substantially in IoT for aged care and disability, developing predictive analysis of patient care progress with a focus on making the technology usable by care staff.
